November Favourites 2014

November is the fastest month of the year.  That's what I've decided, even though technically its not.  Regardless it flew by.

Beauty Favourites

Milani Baked Blush in Berry Amore, I got this blush at this time last year and instantly fell in love.  First of all it is so pretty to just look at and is even prettier on!

Miracle 10 Face Sunscreen, I was lucky enough to attend the Blogger's Word of Mouth event that Miracle 10 hosted earlier this month and test out some of their products.  Although I love the entire line, I did have to give a special mention to their sunscreen.  It isn't the slightest bit greasy, they describe it as having the feel of a primer and I couldn't agree more!  I know some of you are thinking, "Rachel, its winter... your pictures have snow on the ground, why are you wearing sunscreen?"  Well friends, that is because the sun is still shining in the winter and with the reflections off the snow it can be even more dangerous!  So don't forget your sunscreen.

Milani Baked Eyeshadow in Bella Gold, I recently redeemed my Ipsy points (I think in October) and got 3 of these baked eyeshadows.  I have been loving the gold colour recently, I think it is perfect for the fall and holidays!

Elf Matte Lip Crayon in Natural, I picked this up mostly because it was cheap and heard a lot of good things about it from Eleventh Gorgeous, I love it for when I'm just running out the door doing some errands.

Covergirl Lipstick in Euphoria, This is my favourite berry coloured lipstick at the moment, I love how creamy it feels on the lips and it has awesome staying power.

TEMPTU Pearl Liquid Highlighter, I said I wasn't too sure about this in my November Ipsy Bag but turns out I love it.  I put a little bit on the tops of my cheek bones and it gives me a dewy look that I'm obsessed with.  A little goes a long way so I think this little thing will last quite awhile.

Non Beauty Favourites

Mockingjay Part 1 - SO GOOD, like just so good.  For a part one movie, I thought it was jam packed with action and information, sometimes when they split a book into 2 movies I think the first one can sometimes just lay down the ground work and then you have to wait a year for the second half with all the excitement.  But they did a great job with this, and that ending !!!!!

How to Train Your Dragon 2 - This came out on DVD and since I was in love with the first one, naturally I am in love with the second one.  Toothless is adorable as ever and in my opinion, you're never too old for a good animated film!

How to Get Away With Murder - Mid season finale gave us the answer of who killed her husband, but again THAT ENDING. MIND BLOWN. If you haven't watched it this fall then get on it and get caught up in time for the rest of the season which comes back January 28th I think.

House of DVF - This is a lifetime show, it's on right after Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons.  The girls on this show crack me up every episode, they are trying to get the job of Brand Ambassador for DVF.  There is literally no rhyme or reason to when/how people get sent home and that just makes it even more exciting because you really have no idea what Diane herself is going to do!

Hozier - Most of you have probably hear his single "Take me to Church" on the radio and have heard he's performing at the VS fashion show, but you need to hear the rest of his album "Hozier."  Every song is on point, I absolutely love it.
