Collective US Beauty Haul

I recently went away with my parents to Florida.  We have a time share there and usually go there for the first two weeks in May, I only went for one this year but I have been going for many years (ever since I was 5 weeks old).

Obviously I have to do some shopping while I am there, I tried to place an order with Ulta to make sure I got everything I had my eyes on (specifically the Lorac Pro Palette) just in case it was sold out. But clearly I am doing something wrong because I could not place the order... once I needed to enter my credit card (which clearly has a Canadian billing address) my order would not go through.  I know this is because they only ship to the US and you cannot even put in an address in Canada, even for billing! I think this is kind of a huge pain in my butt.  So of course, once I got to Ulta... no palette.  When I went to check out I asked the cashier if they knew when they would be getting more in (the day was after we would be leaving), she mentioned ordering online, to which I responded with this long winded story that I am now repeating for all of you.  She suggested using a pre-paid credit card or purchasing a gift card when I was in the states and using that (which still would mean I had to go to an Ulta to get the gift card?)  Does anyone have any suggestions for this or a way to get around it? Let me know in the comments below!

Okay, into the goods.  I picked up stuff from Ulta, CVS and Target.

Without that beautiful palette I just can't enjoy these photos quite as much (sorry, still bitter).

Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Shampoo and Conditioner: I bought a little sample of these and the sea salt spray at CVS, and since the full size was on sale at Ulta I decided to pick them up (I already have a full size of the spray).  These are super affordable and a good alternative to Bumble & Bumble.

Eva NYC Therapy Session Hair Mask: I received a sample of this in one of my very first Ipsy bags and fell in love with it but haven't been able to find it in Canada.  This stuff smells amazing and leaves your hair so freakin' soft, you can use it as a hair mask or as a daily conditioner.  It comes in this gigantic tub, which I don't know where I will keep it in my shower, but it's worth it.

Elite Tangle Ease: Pretty much I forgot to pack a hair brush and have wanted one of this type for a while... so I got one.  So far so good.

Real Techniques Brushes: These are probably my favourite brushes, easy to use and super affordable.  I picked up the sculpting brush, powder brush and blush brush.

NYX Matte Finish Setting Spray:  I've never tried a finish spray so I have no idea what to expect from this, but I have heard good things about it so decided to pick it up.

Revlon Colorstay 24hr Foundation: I'm the lightest shade (Ivory) and since these were buy one, get one 50% off, so I got two.  I use this every day and always get some when I can in the states because it's cheaper there.

Burt's Bees Lip Crayon: This is a new product from Burt's Bees, so far I have only fallen in love with their classic lip balm in the past but I have a deep love for lip crayons so I decided to pick one up.  I got Hawaiian Smoulder.

EOS Lip Balm: As you may know, I have a slight obsession with eos, so I knew I was going to keep my eyes peeled for any I hadn't seen in Canada yet.  I saw this yellow, lemon drop one all by itself on a shelf in Ulta and grabbed it.  Pleasantly surprised later that it has SPF in it (WIN!).

Chapstick: Hello? Cake Batter lip chap?  Can you say no? I can not.

Too Faced Melted: I have two of these already and love them, but I have very bold, sort of similar colours and decided to get a more muted shade.  Some of the lighter colours are very white-based and very vibrant, but this one, Peony is a little more subtle than the others.  Although, now I have my eyes on Melon.

Ardell Lashes: I like these lashes and couldn't believe how cheap they were there ($3.99!!) so I picked up some.

NYX Wonder Pencil: NYX was buy one, get one 50% off as well so I got this pencil because the little sign beside them said it could be used as lip liner, waterline highlight, and something else.  Multipurpose? Sounds good to me.

L'oreal Smokissime: One of my favourite Canadian YouTubers RachhLoves talked about this in one of her videos and raved about it.  I hadn't be able to fine it anywhere, until I saw it at CVS.  I got the shade Brown.

Essie: After reading Murdock Talks' review of this colour Blossom Dandy, I couldn't resist grabbing it even though I have so many turquoise/blue shades already!

Milani Powder Blush: This blush is just so pretty in the pan I had to get it.  I think it will be the perfect shade for the summer.  I picked up the coral shade called, Coral Cove.

Milani Baked Blush: I can never find this raved about shade of this blush, Luminoso.  I have two of these blushes already and love them, so I knew I had to add the most talked about shade to the collection.

Still need to find a way to get that Lorac Palette for a reasonable price... let me know how in the comments below!
