New Blog Series - #CountdownToWayHome - A Guide to Wayhome Music & Arts Festival

This summer I am trying out a new music festival.  Not only new to me but new to the festival world.  Wayhome Music & Arts Festival is taking place right outside of my hometown and my friends and I jumped at the chance to give this new festival a go.  I have been to a few festivals in the past and am sort of known among my friends as the 'concert junkie' because I cannot pass up a chance to see live music.

Mumford and Sons closing Osheaga 2013
In this blog series I hope to share some tips and tricks, some fun DIYs and show you what I will be bringing with me.  I also hope to do some vlogging while I am at the festival.

Boots & Hearts 2014
As I said, I have been to a few festivals in the past.. Osheaga in Montreal twice (2012, 2013) and Boots & Hearts in Bowmanville last year (2014).  Boots & Hearts is being moved to where Wayhome will take place this year but we decided we would mix it up a little bit and try out a new festival this year.

I heard that a co-founder of Bonnaroo was starting what is now nicknamed "Canadian Bonnaroo" I jumped at the chance to get tickets.  Bonnaroo has been on my list of festivals to go to for years now.

They've got lots of people/bands I am super excited to see including Sam Smith, Hozier, Cold War Kids, Alt-J, Yukon Blonde and even Kendrick Lamar.

Let me know if you guys are going to WayHome in the comments below.  If you want to see the next posts in this blog series follow me on Bloglovin', Instagram or Twitter (@rmahxo).
