Google+ That Flour Child: Pretzel Toffee Bark

Pretzel Toffee Bark

Such and easy and highly addictive recipe today (I had to eat some writing this post because I couldn't look at the pictures and not have any)!

If you love salty sweet then this is for you.

All you need is 4 ingredients.
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- pretzels
- chocolate chips (I used semi-sweet)

Preheat oven to 375 C.  Melt the butter and brown sugar together over the stove.  Bring to a boil stirring constantly, reduce heat and let simmer for 3 minutes.

Line baking sheet with tinfoil and spread out pretzels, use what ever shape you want, and as many as you want.

Pour hot sugar/butter mixture over pretzels, don't worry about the evenness it will spread out in the oven.

Put tray in oven for 5 minutes.

Remove from oven, mine was all bubbly so I let it settle before throwing on the chocolate chips.

Let the chocolate chips melt from the heat of the toffee mixture and carefully spread over.

Let cool (you can throw it in the refrigerator or freezer to speed up process).  Smash it or cut it into pieces of your desired size.  Keep in air tight container.

This made a ton, so I brought most of it to work but kept a little container to myself!
