Sephora Give Me More Lip - Swatched on Lips

Sephora puts out a bunch of great sets around the holidays, they're a great way to try out a bunch of products without paying full price.  The Give Me More Lip set is no exception, I would even argue that it is their most popular this year.  I'm pretty sure its sold out on line but I was able to grab one, during their VIB sale at my local Sephora store.
The set includes 15 lip products, 4 full size and 11 minis.  They come in a pretty gold box with a plastic tray that fits each product and makes them pretty difficult to get out.  But you can remove the plastic and reuse the box.  The only brand repeated is Buxom, they included two pretty similar lip glosses from them although I guess they are a different formula.  Other than that there is a huge range of colours in this set, I think it touches every lip colour trend there has been this year, the brown 90's lip, bright orangey-red, matte lips, dark colours, different shades of pink.  It did include one product I already have which is the Too Faced Melted Lipstick in Peony, but the smaller size is great to keep in my purse and I love that shade so I'm not complaining.  Be prepared for an overload of pictures of my face!!

Laura Mercier Creme Smooth in Milkyway: Not a particularly wearable shade for me, but I really like the formula of this one.

Tarte Energy Gloss in Clear: I found it a little strange that they included a clear lip gloss in this set but it does smell good and apparently has plumping stuff in it.

Buxom Lip Cream in Berry Blast:  I'm not a big lip gloss fan and this is one of the duplicated brands in the box.  It's a nice shade but not something I would necessarily pick up on its own.

Clinique Chubby Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in Strawberry:   I was pretty disappointed in the colour pay off of this... I thought it would be a bit more pigmented.  Sort of applied unevenly on my lips so I'm wondering if its just this shade because I have heard such good things about it.

Fresh Sugar Tulip Tinted Lip Treatment:  This is one of my favourites in the box.  Love the colour and the feel on my lips.  I always thought these lip treatments would be a bit grainy because they have sugar in the name I guess but they're not!  So soft and this is now in my bag, I use it every day.

Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Streak (full size):  I love this colour for summer and the formula is great too.  This is probably one I would pick up if I saw it in the display, so very excited it was included.

Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Peony:  As I mentioned, I already have this in full size but am excited to have a mini version as it is great to throw in your purse.  If you haven't tried this formula of lipstick before I suggest you try it out.

Smashbox Be Legendary in Magenta Matte (full size):  I don't think I own such a bright, in your face pink.  But I kind of love it and can't wait to wear it on vacation or in the summer time.

Ciate Liquid Velvet in Risque (full size):  Hello, I am in love with this colour and formula.  Doesn't feel like it would be going anywhere and I have sort of dabbled in orange-y shades for the summer but nothing compares to how I feel about this one.

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture Le Rouge in No 1:  Coming off the joy from the Ciate lipstick above I thought I had found my favourite in the set... until this beauty.  Hello perfect red I think I have ever had on my lips.  The full size of this is on my Christmas list 100%.

Lancome Lip Lover in 355 Framboise Etoile:  Not so excited for this one.  Pretty colour but the formula just kind of falls flat for me.  Maybe because of the two shades it had to follow.

Buxom Lip Polish in Sophia:  Again, not my favourite but still pretty.

Nars Lipstick in Scarlet Empress (full size):  Another winner for me.  I have never tried Nars before and I love this shade.  Win.

Kat Von D Studded Kiss in Homegirl:  Okay first, the name.  Well done.  Very dark for me but I mean I after a glass of wine or two I could be convinced to wear it out for a night, and I'm sure I'd feel pretty badass doing so.

Bite Matte Creme in Cognoc:  I was surprised by liking this shade slightly on my face.  I don't think I would wear it out but I understand why it was included.  Its the ultimate brown lip trend colour and Bite does it like no one else.

Overall I am so glad I could get my hands on this set.  I love to play around with lip colours but I own almost no high end lip products.  This was a great way for me to try some out, and I think one day it will be worth it to me to shell out the big bucks on shades I love.  But for now on a student budget, sticking to sets like these where I can try out a bunch of different things is the best bet for me.
